Artificial Intelligence is one of the most disruptive and promising technologies of the moment, which will enable both the understanding of all kinds of complex phenomena as well as their modelling and optimisation. The application of Artificial Intelligence to all the maintenance and operation processes of aerospace systems, opens up new possibilities in the improvement of operational capabilities, but likewise raises uncertainties as regards the control of complexity or the ethics of its use. This round table discusses the main characteristics and potential of Artificial Intelligence and highlights the major challenges it will pose.
